Nepal Telecom Introduces Fiber Internet Service – Ntc Fiber Net

Nepal Telecom (Ntc) has been at the forefront of providing fiber internet service to its customers, offering high-speed internet up to 200 Mbps, telephone, and TV services through its FTTH (Fiber to the Home) service. This next-generation access technology uses optical fiber to deliver reliable and quality internet service to fixed locations such as homes and offices. With speeds ranging from 1 Mbps to 100 Mbps, FTTH also includes IP-based voice and multimedia services like IPTV.

Nepal Telecom first launched its FTTH service in limited areas of Kathmandu back in 2072 and has since been expanding its coverage to more areas across the country. Currently, Ntc fiber internet service is available in 77 districts, with the latest district being Humla. Customers can enjoy unlimited internet, voice call rental, and combo packs that include telephone services. The company also offers the option to add data to existing voice-only customers at affordable rates.

Nepal Telecom provides a variety of fiber packages for customers, including triple play (NTTV+Phone+Unlimited Internet) offers, fiber with telephone packs, internet-only fiber packs, and premium fiber internet with IPTV combo packages. Customers can also request a free trial of 50 Mbps internet for a month if they already have an Ntc fiber line connected to their home and are using telephone services only.

For new subscribers, the total cost of the subscription for one year varies based on the package chosen, with speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 200 Mbps. Customers subscribing to the triple-play FTTH pack for a year are entitled to a free set-top box. Additionally, Ntc offers free mobile data to users who subscribe to their fiber net package for a year, with data limits based on the speed of the internet package.

While the premium FTTH internet packages do not have any Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limits, lower-tier packages have FUP limits that determine the data volume after which internet speeds may decrease. Customers can check if Ntc fiber service is available in their area by looking for specific boxes on poles or by searching for NTFiber WiFi hotspots.

To connect to Ntc FTTH Fiber internet service, customers need to fill out a registration form, pay the registration charge, and subscribe to a monthly or yearly package. Installation charges, CPE costs, and fiber costs may apply, but Ntc provides free CPE and cable for customers migrating from traditional landline phones. Recharging the fiber service can be done through various methods, including visiting Ntc counters, using digital payment providers, or dialing 1412 for recharge cards.

Overall, Nepal Telecom’s FTTH service offers a comprehensive and reliable internet solution for customers, with a range of packages to suit different needs. With high-speed internet, telephone, TV services, and additional benefits like free mobile data, Ntc fiber internet service is a popular choice for those looking for a seamless and efficient connectivity solution.
