Chery Fulwin T11 flagship SUV set to debut at the Chengdu Auto Show

The highly anticipated Chery Fulwin T11 is set to make its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show later this month, according to Chinese media reports. Speculation surrounding the launch of this flagship SUV has been fueled by information shared by a blogger known as Torpedo 2954, who claims to have insider details about the finalized exterior styling and dimensions of the new car.

Chery, a prominent Chinese automaker, first showcased a concept of the Fulwin T11 at the 2023 Chery Fulwin New Energy Night. The upcoming SUV is expected to be the largest vehicle in Chery’s lineup, with dimensions measuring 5190mm in length, 1995mm in width, and 1800mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 3100mm. The Fulwin T11 will be part of Chery’s Fulwin sub-brand, which focuses on new energy vehicles and has previously featured PHEV models.

The Chery Fulwin T11 is built on the E0X platform and will be powered by Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM plug-in hybrid system. This system combines a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, delivering a peak power of 115kW (154hp) and 220Nm of torque. The T11 will feature an all-wheel drive system, with a 200kW electric motor. The SUV is expected to offer impressive performance, with a fuel consumption rate of 5.9 l/100 km, acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, and an all-electric range of over 200 km, with a total range exceeding 1400 km. Reports suggest that the T11 will come equipped with front double wishbone suspension and rear multi-link suspension for a smooth and comfortable ride.

While renderings of the Chery Fulwin T11 suggest a more traditional design with visible door handles, it is worth noting that previous Fulwin models have featured concealed door handles. The flagship SUV is expected to offer a range of luxurious features, including dual panoramic roofs, six-screen linkage, and second-row seats with lateral and longitudinal adjustment. The Fulwin T11 is also rumored to include an NOP urban driving function, enhancing the overall driving experience for passengers.
