Mapa y horarios de la primera edición del Comerç Fest, la versión mejorada de la Shopping Night

The first edition of the Comerç Fest is taking place today and tomorrow in Premià de Mar, a new commercial promotion activity that aims to enhance the traditional Shopping Night (which later became known as Nit en Blau) with a two-day program and a wider deployment of streets and venues with various activities. The main focal points of the event are the Santa Rosa square, the Països Catalans square, and the central sections of Jacint Verdaguer and Gran Via streets. The event also includes the courtyard of La Lio, where concerts for the Nit de Veus will be held tonight and tomorrow night.

As mentioned by the councilor of commerce, Xavier Gatius, the Comerç Fest aims to go beyond what the Shopping Night used to be. It seeks to offer a more diverse and engaging experience for both locals and visitors.

Both today and tomorrow, the Comerç Fest will feature unique offerings from participating businesses, but each main area will have its own attractions. The Països Catalans square will host food trucks with various food options, while the Comerç Fest stage on Gran Via with Joan Prim will feature an acoustic concert of cover songs and DJ Torres today afternoon, followed by a performance by the group ‚A contra Blues‘ at night. Tomorrow, there will be a Street Market on the commercial streets during the day, and the Shopping Night will take place from 6 pm to midnight, with activities at five key points of the Comerç Fest.

The event will involve more than 30 establishments, although the exact number is not specified as many businesses have been invited to participate without formal registration. Among these, Comerç Premià has shared a list of nearly 20 businesses offering a variety of activities such as raffles, cocktails, tapas, hairdressing shows with entertainment, Sevillanas dance performances, and nail art.

Lastly, it is important to note that the event will affect the bus routes in the area, with the C18 and C30 lines being rerouted due to the closure of Gran Via. The C18 will take a detour via Riera and Camí del Mig to reach the Cotet neighborhood, with several stops being canceled. The C30 will only pass through Premià de Mar via the National Highway 2, with specific stops being canceled as well.

In conclusion, the Comerç Fest in Premià de Mar promises to be a vibrant and engaging event that showcases the local businesses and offers a diverse range of activities for residents and visitors alike. With a mix of music, food, shopping, and entertainment, it is set to be a memorable experience for all who attend.
