Prior to his current role, Subhankar served as the General Manager at Kochi Marriott Hotel since February 2021. His leadership at the property was marked by significant contributions towards community development and the advancement of associates. Through innovative programs like the ‚Life on Time‘ initiative by Marriott International and a QR code feedback system, Subhankar championed work-life balance and guest satisfaction. He also collaborated with local organizations such as Kochi Metro and Rajagiri College on sustainable initiatives to uplift impoverished communities, aligning with Marriott’s core values. Under his leadership, Kochi Marriott was recognized with the Chief Minister’s Excellence Award for labour welfare in the star hotel and resort category in 2022.
